Wabash Valley Emergency Services Net "Script"

Calling all Radio Amateurs. Calling all Radio Amateurs. Good morning everyone,
and welcome to the Wabash Valley Emergency Services Net. This net meets every
Sunday at 12:20 Coordinated Universal Time on the 146.685 MHz K9IKQ repeater
with a PL tone of 151.4Hz, if the repeater is down we will use the 145.230 MHz
W9SKI repeater.

This net is sponsored by Vigo County Amateur Radio Emergency Services and is
registered with the National Traffic System. The purpose of the net is for:
Amateur Radio Emergency Services Announcements, operators to check their station
operations, to handle traffic and promote good fellowship among all amateur
radio operators.

This is a directed net with a roll call, however, all amateurs are welcome to
check in. The net control station today is ________________________________, my
name is __________________ and I am located ________________________________.

We'll now take a standby for any emergency or priority traffic, call net control.

We'll now take a standby for any mobiles, visitors or short-time stations whose
call suffix begins with Alpha through Lima, call net control.
